In very good cosmetic condition apart from the usual locking bolt marks on the pillar and cartridge bolt marks on the headshell. The counter weight shows signs of wear on the edge too.
Both dials move freely and both vertical and horizontal bearings are very smooth.
The arm moves smoothly horizontally when a small bias is applied and achieved 70 swings.
The serial number would indicate it is a Mark 1 however the lack of a groove in the pillar and silver dots, would suggest it has returned to the factory for an upgrade. Linn however have no record of this. A mystery! One explanation could be that the single owner, who worked at a dealership may possibly have had the work carried out as an off book favour. There's no way of proving this so I'm selling it as a Mark 1 but at a slightly higher price than normal.
Cable not included
Will be shipped in generic tonearm packaging.
