Both dials move freely and both vertical and horizontal bearings are very smooth.
The arm moves smoothly horizontally when a small bias is applied and achieved a very impressive 70+ swings.
Some very minor pitting on the counter weight visible in the photos but difficult to see with the naked eye.
Lift mechanism works as it should.
